SUSAN SUN GUE YANG

Welcome! My name is Susan Sun Gue Yang.

I am a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in Public Administration and Public Policy at the Department of Political Science, University of South Carolina. 

I am currently the Social Media Editor for the Public Personnel Management (PPM) Journal. I was also a Fellow for the 2024 American University Diversity Academy, as well as the Seung Yeun Kim Graduate Fellow for Walker Institute at the University of South Carolina.

My research interests lie in various topics within public administration and public management focusing on social equity, such as representative bureaucracy, citizen satisfaction, job satisfaction, and child-related policies. I use mixed methods to delve into my research puzzles, where I actively utilize both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
